Join us at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters on Saturday, October 19 for Fall Family Fun Day!
Enjoy a puppet show, try your hand at origami and dance Bollywood style. The fun starts at 11 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. This event is free and requires no registration. Library Headquarters is located at 125 Symmes Drive in Manalpan, 07726.
The event schedule is as follows:
Puppets! at 11 a.m.
Ahoy all ye pirates! The Crabgrass Puppet Theatre will present The Pirate, the Princess, and the Pea, a swashbuckling adventure story that is full of sea monsters, sharks, and side-splitting action. For ages 4 and up.
Story Magic! at 1 p.m.
The Origami Swami will perform Stories UnFolding. Megan Hicks is the master of mesmerizing storytelling and paper-folding surprises. For ages 4 and up. After the show, children in grades 3 and older are invited to an origami folding lesson.
"Move to the Music, Bollywood Style" with Enjoy Explore India! at 3 p.m.
Adorn yourself with traditional baubles, bangles and flowing scarves and enjoy music from popular Indian cinema, in a Bollywood-style dance party for the entire family. For all ages.
